Yilin Liu

Yilin Liu is a highly experienced professional in the field of data science and analytics, currently serving as the Deputy General Manager of the Department of Big Data Analytics and Application at China Minsheng Banking Corp.ltd since August 2016. In this role, Yilin Liu manages teams of over 30 data scientists and engineers to develop innovative data-driven solutions for the credit card business, encompassing marketing, risk management, pricing, and customer lifecycle management. Prior to this, Yilin Liu worked at Capital One from November 2010 to July 2016, holding various positions including Senior Manager of Data Science, where responsibilities included leading small business lending and deposit risk modeling, and acting as a model risk officer. Additional experience includes serving as a Postdoctoral Associate at Cornell University from August 2008 to September 2010, focusing on statistical modeling and teaching quality control courses. Yilin Liu earned a PhD in Applied Statistics from Middlesex University between 2003 and 2008.
