Joseph Wang is a seasoned management consultant, spending many years in McKinsey’s Chicago office, and later in Roland Berger Shanghai office, advising clients in the financial services and technology sectors. Mr. Wang also has held executive positions in publicly listed companies in the US and China. He was a Vice President at Assurant Inc. (NYSE: AIZ) in the US, and General Manager of Group Integrated Financial Services Strategy at Ping An Insurance (Group) Company of China (HKSE: 02318; SHSE: 601318). Before joining China Rapid Finance, he was the Chief Operating Officer & Managing Partner at Gopher Asset, a fully owned subsidiary of Noah Holdings Limited (NYSE: NOAH) in China. Mr. Wang graduated Phi Beta Kappa from Grinnell College with a BA in Economics, and received his MBA from The Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania. Mr. Wang is also an adjunct professor at the Graduate School of Economics at Fudan University in Shanghai.
