Muhammad Meraj Alam

Muhammad Meraj Alam is an experienced professional in social and environmental management, currently serving as the Manager of Social and Environment at China Three Gorges South Asia Investment Limited since May 2016. Alam has a diverse background, having previously worked as a Regional Coordinator for Aiming Change for Tomorrow International, where skills in project development, donor liaison, and monitoring & evaluation were honed. Noteworthy achievements include the successful implementation of health and youth advocacy campaigns and projects focused on women's empowerment and governance. Other significant roles include Director of Planning & Development at Press For Peace, and positions within the National Disaster Management Authority and various non-governmental organizations. Alam holds an M.Sc in NGO & Development Management from the University of East London, along with a Master of Arts in Political Science and a B.Sc in Economics, Statistics, and Geography from the University of Azad Jammu & Kashmir.
