Fengshi Xu

Fengshi (Emily) Xu, MA MCIL, is an experienced translator and interpreter with extensive expertise in English and Chinese. Currently serving as a Translator/Interpreter at UnionPay International since March 2020, Fengshi has provided over 100 hours of interpretation and translated 600,000 words of various documents under tight deadlines, specializing in financial technology and administration. Previous roles include Senior Translator/Interpreter at Leiden Business Academy, where over 400 hours of interpretation were delivered, and a Conference Interpreter/Translator for notable organizations such as the Chinese Academy of Cultural Heritage and Historic England. With a Master of Arts in Language Interpretation and Translation from Newcastle University and a Bachelor of Arts from East China Normal University, Fengshi has a solid academic background to complement professional experience in high-pressure environments.
