Elizabeth Hendler

Director, Institutional Advancement at Chinese-American Planning Council

Elizabeth Hendler is the Director of Institutional Advancement at the Chinese-American Planning Council. Elizabeth has held this position since July 2017. Prior to that, they were the Development Manager at the Chinese-American Planning Council from July 2015 to July 2017. From January 2013 to July 2015, they were the Grants Administrator at the Chinese-American Planning Council. From February 2008 to December 2012, they were the Associate Director for Institutional Advancement at Grand Street Settlement. During their tenure at Grand Street Settlement, they led a team that successfully met agency income goals each year for a non-profit settlement house with a budget that grew from $12-15 million. Elizabeth has also worked as a consultant for various non-profit organizations from January 2008 to December 2012.

Elizabeth Hendler has an MFA in Fine Arts from Parsons School of Design, a BS from New York University, and a Certification in Youth Management for Non Profit Organizations from Columbia University. Elizabeth also has a Mentoring Supervisor Certificate from Fordham School for Social Work and BB&BS, and a Web Design Certification from The New School.
