Annie Lee

Annie Lee serves as the Managing Director of Policy at Chinese for Affirmative Action since November 2021, providing strategic direction for initiatives focused on language access, education equity, and community justice. Previously, Annie held the position of Policy Director, co-leading significant legislative efforts in California. Prior to this role, experience includes serving as a Civil Rights Attorney at the U.S. Department of Education, where investigations centered on compliance with civil rights laws in education. Annie's advocacy work as an Equal Justice Works Fellow at the National Center for Youth Law included collaborating on policies to support foster youth education and legal representation. Educational qualifications feature a J.D. from Harvard Law School, an MST in Education from Fordham University, and a BA in Political Science from the University of Pennsylvania.
