Catalin Zagan

Catalin Zagan is an experienced Wellsite Geologist with a comprehensive background in the oil and gas industry, currently serving at Chinook Consulting Services since January 2017, focusing on projects for Baytex Energy and Gear Energy. Prior to this role, Catalin Zagan held a similar position at Hopewell Petroleum from 2008 to the present, overseeing operations for HUSKY ENERGY, PENN WEST, and STEALTH VENTURES. Earlier experience includes a tenure at Cougar Consultants Inc from 2007 to 2008, working with STATOIL. Catalin Zagan holds a Law degree from the University of Al. Ioan Cuza in Iasi, Romania, completed from 1990 to 1995, followed by studies at the University of M. Kogalniceanu from 1995 to 2000.
