Anton Patton

Anton Patton is the current Products & Applications Engineering Director at Chint Power Systems Americas. Anton has over 7 years of experience in the solar industry. Anton has a degree in Sustainable Manufacturing from the University of California, Berkeley.

Anton started their career as a Graduate Student Instructor for the Processing of Materials in Manufacturing Course and the Sustainable Manufacturing Course at UC Berkeley. Anton was also a Graduate Student Researcher for the Laboratory of Manufacturing and Sustainability. In February 2014, they became a Solar Applications Engineer at Safari Energy, LLC. There they were responsible for performing Quality Assurance/Control and Commissioning processes for photovoltaic systems, as well as managing system repairs and subcontracted O&M services. Anton also reviewed engineering deliverables and initiated appropriate corrective actions, created and managed internal and external documents for tracking system production. In July 2016, Anton became VP Technical Operations at Advantage Energy Capital Partners, LLC. There they lead technical operations for commercial scale solar PV & energy storage systems, maintained engineering, procurement, and construction standards, and monitored & directed efforts of key relationships during development of projects.

Anton Patton has a Master of Science in Mechanical Engineering from the University of California, Berkeley, and a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from UC Santa Barbara. Anton is certified by the Board for Professional Engineers, Land Surveyors, and Geologists as an Engineer In Training, and by the NABCEP as a NABCEP Certified PV Installation Professional. Anton also has an OSHA 30-Hour Construction certification from the Occupational Safety and Health Administration.

James Whipple - Senior Field Analysis Engineer, Stephen Ballinger - Senior Applications Engineer, and Faviola Angulo - Senior Field Analysis Engineer report to Anton Patton. Anton Patton works with Joe Ross - National Accounts Manager, Rubi Hernandez - HR Manager, and Annie Lin - Supply Chain Supervisor. Their manager is Bryan Wagner, General Manager.
