Brian Baxter

Brian Baxter is currently the Associate Director of Sales for the Northeast Region at Chint Power Systems Americas. Prior to this, they worked as a Sr Solar Application Engineer at GE Energy from January 2008 to December 2014, where they were responsible for solar plant design, component selection, performance and cost analysis, and project management. Brian then became the Managing Director of Engineering at GE from December 2007 to March 2019, where they led a team of 7 electrical/mechanical engineers supporting GE’s global Solar Projects. Brian has also been involved in the acquisition of top talent across all functions, as well as the procurement and development of tools and software for efficient, repeatable efforts.

Brian Baxter has a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering from Rutgers University and an M.S. in Electrical Engineering from Union College. Brian is certified as a NYSERDA Certified Installer and as a Solar PV Installer from NABCEP.

They work with James Oswald - Service Director, Rubi Hernandez - HR Manager, and Trung Bui - Building & Lab Manager. A direct report to Brian Baxter is and Peter Oprysko - Inside Sales Manager. Brian Baxter reports to Bryan Wagner, General Manager.
