Angela Ashmore is a seasoned race engineer currently serving as the Lead Race Engineer for the #11 Car at Chip Ganassi Racing since January 2020. Previous experience includes roles as Assistant Engineer for the #8 Indycar Team at Chip Ganassi Racing, where responsibilities involved data systems engineering and development of race strategy tools. Prior to this, Angela worked at Roush Fenway Racing as a Race Engineer, focusing on tire data analysis. Angela began a career in automotive engineering at FCA Fiat Chrysler Automobiles as an SRT Driveline Engineer, developing critical components for high-performance vehicles. Earlier experience at Chrysler Group LLC included a two-year rotational engineering program across various departments. Angela holds a Master of Science (MS) and a Bachelor of Science (BS) in Mechanical Engineering from Purdue University.

Chip Ganassi has been a fixture in the auto racing industry for over 30 years and is considered one of the most successful and innovative owners in motorsports.
