Mike Long

Mike Long has a diverse work experience in business development and sponsorship sales within the sports and entertainment industry. Mike is currently the Vice President of Business Development at Chip Ganassi Racing since June 2023. Prior to that, they served as the Managing Director of National Sales at NASCAR from September 2020 to May 2023. Mike also held positions as the Senior Director of Sponsorship Sales at Live Nation Entertainment from January 2012 to September 2020 and as the Associate General Manager / General Manager at IMG from April 2010 to January 2012. Additionally, Mike worked as the Portfolio Director of Business Development at Simon Brand Ventures from April 2006 to April 2010, the Director of Strategic Alliances at Maloof Sports & Entertainment from March 2003 to April 2006, and the Sports Account Manager at Cox Radio from 1996 to 2003. Mike began their career as a Corporate Sales Manager at the Houston Rockets from 1993 to 1996.

Mike Long attended Marianna High School from 1980 to 1984, where they obtained their high school diploma. Following that, from 1984 to 1986, they attended Chipola College and earned an Associate of Arts degree in Journalism. Finally, from 1986 to 1988, Mike attended Florida Agricultural and Mechanical University, where they obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Journalism.
