Hariharan Jayaraman

Hariharan Jayaraman has extensive work experience in various technology roles. Hariharan currently serves as the Head of Product Engineering at Chipper Cash, where they are responsible for leading the development of product engineering initiatives. Prior to this, they worked as the Senior Engineering Manager for Virtual Cards, Commerce, and Investment Services at Chipper Cash. Before joining Chipper Cash, Hariharan held the position of Senior Software Engineer - Payments at Wave HQ.

Hariharan has also worked as the Director of Engineering at RideFlag Technologies Inc., where they played a vital role in architecting and maintaining highly scalable infrastructure for traffic optimization applications. Hariharan built multiple systems using serverless architecture with AWS technologies.

As the Chief Technology Officer at Nebula Controls, Hariharan led the development and management of intelligent control systems for industrial and commercial applications. Hariharan spearheaded the company's product portfolio across various sectors, including Manufacturing, Automotive, Warehousing, and Agriculture.

Additionally, Hariharan has gained experience as an Executive In Residence - Technical Mentor at Wilfrid Laurier University's LaunchPad Program. Hariharan also founded and served as the CEO of Manakn Corporation, a company focused on bringing cutting-edge technology to Animal Sciences.

Hariharan began their career as a Software Developer at Digital Domain, where they worked on major VR mobile applications and played a key role in the development of the world's first mainstream media app in Virtual Reality. Hariharan also worked as a Software Engineer at Infinidy, specializing in mobile application development and UI design.

Hariharan completed their Graduate Teaching Assistantship at the University of Waterloo.

Hariharan Jayaraman holds a Master's in Engineering degree in Electrical and Computer Sciences from the University of Waterloo (2013-2015) and a Bachelor's in Engineering degree in Electronics and Instrumentation Engineering from Anna University (2009-2013). In addition to their formal education, they have obtained several certifications in areas such as workplace harassment prevention, empathetic communication, leadership, cryptocurrency and blockchain, fintech, and foundational skills.
