Marc Gottschalk

Marc Gottschalk is the current Chief Legal Officer at Chipper Cash. Marc has also held positions at Dickinson Corporation, Osterhout Design Group, Duane Morris LLP, ID8 Advisory, Stack Labs, Sidley Austin LLP, and Proterra Inc.

Marc Gottschalk graduated from Harvard Law School and began their career as a corporate law partner representing strategic venture investors in the technology, life sciences, financial services and consumer products/lifestyle sectors. Advises investors, as well as clean technology and other emerging growth companies in corporate formation, venture financing and strategic transactions.

In 2010, Marc became the Chief Business Development Officer and General Counsel of Proterra Inc, a leading innovator in the design and manufacture of zero-emission vehicles. Marc held this position until 2013 when they became a partner at Sidley Austin LLP.

In 2014, Marc took on the role of Outside Counsel for Stack Labs. Marc held this position until 2015 when they returned to Proterra Inc as their Chief Executive Officer. Marc remained in this position until 2016 when they joined Osterhout Design Group as their Strategic Business Advisor and General Counsel.

In 2018, Marc left Osterhout Design Group to join Chipper Cash as their Chief Legal Officer.

Marc Gottschalk graduated from Grinnell College with a Bachelor of Science in Political Science and Government. Marc then attended the University of California, Hastings College of the Law, where they earned their JD.

They are on a team with Pardon Mujakachi - VP, Strategy & Partnerships, Africa, Stefano Pardi - VP, Revenue, and Anaesha Whitaker - Chief of Staff. Their manager is Ham Serunjogi, Co-Founder & CEO.
