Som Biswas

Som Biswas is an accomplished commercial helicopter pilot with extensive experience spanning over three decades in aviation and military operations. Currently serving as a Commercial Helicopter Pilot at Chipsan Aviation Private Limited, Som commands an Airbus H145 (BK117). Previous roles include piloting Mi-172 helicopters at Sky One Airways Private Limited and overseeing flight test operations as Deputy General Manager at TATA Advanced Systems Limited. Som’s distinguished career with the Indian Air Force encompasses strategic planning for UAV operations, leadership as Commanding Officer of an IAF UAV Squadron, and ensuring aviation safety as Senior Manager Aviation Safety & Inspection. Som holds a Master of Science in Military Science and Operational Studies from the University of Madras and a Bachelor of Science from VSSD College, Kanpur.
