Amritha Salian

Amritha is the Head-Legal at Chiratae Ventures. She has more than 16 years of post-qualification experience. At Chiratae, Amritha advises on strategic matters. She considers working with people to help facilitate what they want to achieve, as her core value.

Amritha started her career as a generalist advising on different areas of law, including, dispute resolution, public policy, intellectual property, real estate, and general corporate advisory before finding her area of interest and specializing in venture and private equity investments, acquisitions, commercial contracts and anti-harassment laws.

Prior to joining Chiratae, Amritha worked at leading law firms for 16 years, spending close to a decade as partner at law firms. Amritha has advised and represented financial investors including some of the biggest venture capital firms with their investments in multiple jurisdictions; and companies and promoters with their legal requirements.

She is a gold medalist and holds a B.A., LL.B., Law degree from University Law College, Bengaluru.

Amritha is a hodophile, fitness enthusiast and enjoys reading and trekking the Himalayas.
