Anahita Panahi

Anahita Panahi serves as the Deputy Director of Refugee Affairs and Refugee Campaign Manager at CHIRLA, leading initiatives that promote civic engagement among refugees and expand the We Are All America campaign. In addition to current roles, Anahita holds the position of Vice Chair at the Refugee Forum of Los Angeles. Previously, Anahita worked as a California Refugee Organizer for the National Partnership for New Americans, focusing on refugees' rights and needs in Southern California. Anahita's early career included positions at Alliance for African Assistance and Bahcesehir University, where research on social activism and foreign policy was conducted. Anahita completed a Master’s Degree in Political Science and holds a Bachelor’s Degree in International Security and Conflict Resolution, along with an Associate’s Degree in Social and Behavioral Sciences.
