Andrew Brien

Andrew Brien is an experienced professional in process engineering and operational excellence, currently serving as an Operational Excellence Business Partner at Chivas Brothers since August 2016. In this role, Andrew has been pivotal in developing the company's "End-to-End" Manufacturing Process in collaboration with Competitive Capabilities Int., focusing on the implementation of continuous improvement initiatives. Previous experiences include roles as a Process Engineer at AECOM, where Andrew contributed to waste retrieval design engineering for nuclear decommissioning, and as a Spirit Supply Intern at Diageo, improving production efficiency. Andrew holds a Master’s Degree in Chemical Engineering from the University of Strathclyde, where research work focused on jamming in particle suspensions. Additional internships at Xodus Group and exposure to BP's engineering programs further enhanced Andrew's practical experience in the engineering field.
