Joe Barlow

Joe Barlow's work experience includes serving as the Head of Content and Production at Chive Media Group since March 2023. Prior to this role, they worked as a Video and Social Media Editor at Chive Media Group from October 2019 to April 2023, and as a Social Media Coordinator from September 2018 to October 2019. Additionally, Joe worked as an Entertainment Reporter at Spectrum starting in October 2020. Before that, they were an Entertainment Reporter at KXAN-TV from July 2016 to August 2018, and a Comedy Correspondent at The CW Austin from August 2015 to July 2016. Joe also has experience as a Storyteller/Host at WCIA-TV from August 2011 to August 2015. Additionally, they served as a Team Leader/Producer/Actor/Writer/Editor/Music at the 48 Hour Film Project from June 2008 to June 2014. Joe also worked as a Creator/Host/Writer/Editor/Producer at Words with Joe Barlow from February 2009 to May 2010, and as an Executive Producer at Drake Broadcasting System from August 2009 to April 2010.

Joe Barlow attended Drake University from 2006 to 2010, where they obtained a Bachelor's degree in Electronic Media, Broadcasting, and Rhetoric. In 2011, they briefly attended the Second City Training Center, studying improvisation and writing.
