Lisa Polak is a seasoned finance professional with extensive experience in accounting and financial management. Currently serving as Controller at CHN Housing Partners since April 2023, Lisa previously held the same position at Laurel School from July 2016 to April 2023, where responsibilities included supporting the CFO, safeguarding assets, and ensuring accurate financial reporting. Prior to this, Lisa worked at Forest City as Accounting Manager and Senior Financial Accountant, focusing on GAAP and tax basis journal entries and financial analysis. Lisa’s career began at Brockman, Coats, Gedelian & Co. as an Accounting Associate, followed by a role as GL Accountant at Emerald Performance Materials. Lisa earned a Bachelor of Business Administration in Accounting from Kent State University between 1999 and 2002.

CHN Housing Partners, formerly Cleveland Housing Network, was founded in 1981. It is a large-scale affordable housing developer and housing service provider that works with its partners to solve major housing challenges for low-income people and underserved communities. CHN partners with utility companies, financial institutions and public agencies to manage and deliver large-scale housing resources. CHN also partners with people—low-income individuals, families, seniors, the disabled and the homeless—to improve their housing stability.
