Julian Hammer

Julian Hammer is the Co-Founder and CMO at Choco, a company that makes it easy for people to find and buy the best chocolate from around the world. Prior to Choco, Julian was self-employed, working with the founders and teams of Ace & Tate, BuzzHire, UpLabs (YC W16), and EPIC Companies. At EPIC, Julian led product and marketing teams at startups backed by European television Group ProSiebenSat.1.

In 2013, Julian also worked at Global Savings Group as the Head of Marketing Intelligence. In this role, they worked on Performance Marketing and Business Intelligence (advertiser attribution) at Europe’s leading B2C shopping rewards company.

Before their work in marketing and product development, Julian was part of the launch team of Lazada in Vietnam as their Venture Development lead. Julian was responsible for recruiting pre-launch and later led Operations teams. After Lazada, Julian went on to work as the Head of Operations KIOMI at Zalando SE and Venture Development at ZALORA Group.

Julian Hammer reports to Daniel Khachab, Co-Founder & CEO. They work with Yasin Ozturk - Director of Finance, Hilary Kenyon - Head of US Business Operations, and Sophie Pollok - General Counsel.
