Dawn Hix

Dawn Hix has extensive experience in educational and counseling roles, currently serving as a Career Counselor at Choctaw Nation of Oklahoma since November 2020. Prior to this position, Dawn worked as the IDA Coordinator for the same organization from June 2009 to September 2020. Additionally, Dawn was a Business Information Technology Teacher at Durant Public Schools for 16 years, from August 1993 to May 2009. Dawn Hix holds a Master of Education (M.Ed.) in Secondary School Administration/Principalship from Southeastern Oklahoma State University and has further educational credentials from the University of Oklahoma.
