Aly El-Bassuni serves as Senior Vice President of the Managed Hotels Division at Choice Hotels International, where he leads the strategic direction, operational performance, and financial success of the company’s managed hotel portfolio. With more than 30 years of hospitality leadership experience, El-Bassuni brings a global perspective and a hands-on approach to driving long-term, sustainable growth.

El-Bassuni has previously held senior roles at Aimbridge Hospitality, Wyndham Hotels & Resorts, and Radisson Hotel Group Americas. His career spans operations, franchising, and brand management, with a consistent focus on enhancing owner satisfaction, strengthening quality assurance, and delivering innovative brand solutions. Prior to joining Choice Hotels he served as President of Operations, Owner & Brand Relations at Aimbridge where he led operations support services and strategic initiatives to improve retention and business outcomes.
