Maya Yette

Maya Yette serves as the Senior Director of Corporate Strategy & Strategic Planning at Choice Hotels International since May 2018, leading the Corporate Strategy team to drive long-term growth and transformational initiatives. Prior positions at Choice include Director of Extended Stay Brand Management and Senior Extended Stay Brand Manager. Previously, Maya worked as an Operations Associate at Travel Noire and participated in Remote Year, traveling while working across multiple continents. Maya began a career in law as a Corporate Attorney at Covington & Burling LLP, and has also held summer associate positions at the same firm and at Ropes & Gray LLP. Maya's early career included work as a Staff Writer for Black Enterprise. Educational credentials include a Juris Doctor from Harvard Law School and a Bachelor's Degree in Communications with minors in Spanish and International Studies from Wake Forest University.
