Michael B. Flores

Michael has spent his entire career serving youth and adults with special needs and mental health concerns. Currently in private practice providing mental health services consultation, Michael previously was the executive director for Oconomowoc Residential Programs in Indiana, a position he held for nearly 16 years. During his time at Oconomowoc, he led a team of 400 professionals and earned accreditation from the Council on Accreditation. Michael has extensive experience in Indiana state government, where in his last position he was responsible for overseeing Indiana’s four state hospitals. Michael is a graduate of Northeastern Junior College and Valparaiso University. He received Master in Social Work from Indiana University. Michael is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker, and a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist. Michael joined the Choices Board of Directors in 2015 and currently serves as a board member.
