Nina Birger

Vice President of Climate Solutions at CHOOOSE

Nina Birger has a wealth of professional experience, starting with their role as a Paralegal at Hafetz, Necheles, and Rocco in 2011. Nina then moved on to become Chalet Manager at Papilio Guest House in the same year. In 2012, they took on the role of Senior Associate at Ceres, Inc., which they held until 2015 when they were promoted to Senior Associate. In 2016, they took on the role of Business Development Manager (MBA Summer Internship) at Sistine Solar, Inc. Nina then moved on to become a Consultant at the MIT Sloan Sustainability Initiative in 2017, followed by a Senior Consultant, Corporate Sustainability Lead position at thinkstep. In 2020, they became a Lecturer, Managerial Communications at the MIT Sloan School of Management, as well as Vice President of Partnerships and Senior Director, Partnerships at Greentown Labs. Most recently, they took on the role of Vice President of Climate Solutions at CHOOOSE in 2022.

Nina Birger attended Tufts University from 2006 to 2010, earning a Bachelor of Arts in English and Peace and Justice Studies. Nina then attended Oxford University-Pembroke College from 2008 to 2009, studying English Literature. In 2015, they began attending MIT Sloan School of Management, graduating in 2017 with a Master of Business Administration (M.B.A.). In May of 2017, they also obtained a Sustainability Certificate from MIT Sloan School of Management.
