Bill Moss

Bill Moss has extensive experience in the legal and insurance sectors, specializing in risk assessment and litigation management. Bill has served as a Volunteer Greeter for Choose Chicago and as a Volunteer for Open Books since 2014. Prior to retirement in 2013, Bill held significant roles at Zurich Insurance as a retired risk assessment professional and at Risk Enterprise Management as Director of Litigation Management, overseeing legal expenditures during key transitions. Bill's legal career includes serving as Senior Claims Counsel at Argonaut Insurance Company and as Senior Trial Attorney/Corporation Counsel for the City of Detroit, where representation of Detroit Police Officers on civil rights issues was a focus. Bill holds a Juris Doctor from Wayne State University Law School and a Bachelor of Arts in Pre-law from Alma College.
