David E. Czechowski is a seasoned economist and market analyst currently serving as the Director/Sr. Economist in Research & Analysis at Choose Chicago since January 2013. In this role, David has focused on market analysis, including pre and post-event analyses that validate ROI for promotional programs and generating tourism forecasts. Prior to this, David held significant positions at the Portland Cement Association and Midas International, where responsibilities included preparing economic analyses and supporting strategic research for asset allocation and market penetration. David's earlier experience includes a role at The WEFA Group, providing consulting services to Fortune 500 companies. David holds a Bachelor's degree in Economics from Roosevelt University and has completed advanced training in business writing, public speaking, and business forecasting.
