As Technical Portfolio Manager at Foresight Group, Barney supported acquisitions in environmental and infrastructure projects, with a focus on utility-scale solar. At Solarcentury, Barney worked as both Bid Manager for Africa and Project Manager for UK solar farm projects. Barney began a career in the solar energy industry as Managing Director of Sunspot Energy Services, a consulting firm. Educationally, Barney holds a Bachelor of Engineering (Mechanical) and a Bachelor of Arts from UNSW.
