Lizzie Horvitz is the founder of Finch Insights, a company focused on addressing social and environmental sustainability through consumer behavior by creating a universal rating system. In addition to founding Finch, Lizzie is also an On Deck Climate Tech Fellow at On Deck. Prior to their current roles, Lizzie served as the COO at Muuse, worked in sales and partnerships at Unilever, and held various internships and research positions in environmental and sustainability-focused organizations such as The Estée Lauder Companies Inc., Cleantech Group, Natural Resources Defense Council, and Wildlife Conservation Society. Lizzie holds a Master of Business Administration & Master of Environmental Management from Yale University and a B.A. in Environmental History and African Studies from Middlebury College.

Finch is a tool that decodes products' environmental and social impacts to incentivize consumers and brands to make better decisions. It operates a browser extension software to offer insights on a multitude of consumer products. Its software assesses what products are made of, how they are created, and how long they last, besides pinningexpert scores on products' environmental and social impacts with functional reviews from real people. Using machine learning capabilities, it scores products based on a series of attributes and equips consumers with the right information at the point of purchase.
