Ricardo de Amorim has worked in the software engineering field since 2009. From 2009 to 2011, they worked as a Design Verification Intern at AMD and as a Research Assistant (Software Developer) at Environment Canada. In 2011, they collaborated on a team of three to design a brain computer interface as part of their 4th Year Capstone Design Project at the University of Toronto. From 2012 to present, they have been working as a Software Engineer at InteraXon Inc, where they are responsible for the back-end of Android apps and defining the APIs used within the SDK for all platforms. Ricardo's software experience is mostly focused in the use of Objective-C and Java with C++ integration involving the use of the Java Native Interface (JNI).
Ricardo de Amorim attended the University of Toronto from 2006 to 2012, where they earned a Bachelor of Applied Science (B.A.Sc.) in Computer Engineering.
