Shane Thatcher

Shane Thatcher has a diverse work experience history. Shane started their career at TXU Europe as a Risk Analyst from 1998 to 2000. Shane then worked at Intergen, first as a Trading Manager from 2000 to 2004, and later as the General Manager Trading from 2004 to 2007. In 2008, they joined IPSOS Renewables Pty Ltd as Business Development & Marketing role until 2010. From 2010 to 2015, they founded and led illumination, where they served as Chairman and Founder, and later as CEO. Currently, since 2015, they are the Co-Founder and COO of Choovie Group, a company focused on enhancing customer experience by offering movie-based rewards and offers.

Shane Thatcher completed their education in a chronological manner. In 1990, they enrolled at the University of Melbourne and pursued a degree in Economics and Commerce with a focus on Environmental Economics. Shane studied at the university for three years and completed their degree in 1992. Following this, Shane Thatcher decided to further enhance their academic qualifications and joined the University of Melbourne once again in 1994. This time, they pursued a Graduate Diploma in Economics specializing in Environmental Economics. Shane successfully completed this program in 1995.
