Steven Cahail

Steven Cahail has worked in the tech industry for over a decade. Steven began their career in 2011 as an Interim Engineering Intern at Qualcomm. Steven returned to Qualcomm in 2012 as an Interim Engineering Intern in the UIM Smart Card Technologies Team, where they implemented a software optimization for the embedded Smart Card Web Server feature. In 2013, they returned to Qualcomm as an Interim Engineering Intern. In 2014, they joined Qualcomm as an Engineer on the Linux MPROC (Multiprocessor) Team, where they designed, developed and maintained Linux kernel drivers for Android that implemented interprocessor communication in Qualcomm SoCs. Steven also created unit tests and documentation for all supported projects, and developed a kernel device driver to support fault recovery in the MPROC team’s main interprocessor communication framework. In 2016, they joined Oracle as a Software Engineer in the Oracle Data Cloud. In 2019, they joined BryterCX as a Senior Data Engineer and Software Engineer. Steven is currently employed as a Senior Data Engineer at Choozle since 2021.

Steven Cahail has a Bachelor of Science (BS) in Computer Science from The University of Texas at Austin, which they obtained between 2009 and 2013. Steven has also obtained additional certifications, including Learn Apache Kafka for Beginners from LinkedIn in April 2020, Oracle Certified Associate, Java SE 8 Programmer from Oracle in February 2016, and AWS Certified Developer – Associate from Amazon Web Services (AWS) in November 2018.
