Matthew Schofield is an experienced risk management professional with a strong background in health and safety across various roles. Currently serving as the Head of Risk at Chopstix Group since July 2023, Matthew previously held the position of Group Health and Safety Manager at Daniel Thwaites from August 2016 to August 2023, where notable achievements included receiving the RoSPA silver award for three consecutive years and being commended in the RoSPA "influencer" category in 2019. Prior to that, Matthew was the Food Hygiene and Safety Manager at Spirit Pub Company, overseeing compliance for over 200 pubs from January 2010 to August 2016. Additionally, Matthew served as a Risk Management Officer and Company Standards Auditor at Somerfield between November 2001 and January 2010, focusing on legal compliance and risk management across multiple store locations.
