Daniel Peterson

Daniel Peterson is a seasoned IT professional with extensive experience in infrastructure and security management. Currently serving as Field IT Manager at Chord Energy since February 2022, Daniel previously held various roles in IT infrastructure and operations at Oasis Petroleum, HCL America, and Summit Midstream Partners, LP. With a strong background in overseeing IT teams and maintaining critical network services, Daniel has also managed significant projects at Energy Transfer Partners and designed sophisticated security systems at Xramp Security Services, Inc. Earlier in their career, Daniel honed skills as a Network Engineer at Frost Bank and Rackspace Managed Hosting, as well as a System Engineer in the USAF, where Top Secret SCI Clearance was maintained. Daniel's educational background includes attendance at Los Fresnos High School from 1993 to 1996.
