Dennis is currently the Senior Vice President, Chief Legal Officer and Corporate Secretary of Chorus Aviation Inc. Dennis has held senior legal roles with several companies, both within and outside the transportation sector. He has previously served as the Senior Vice President, Chief Legal Officer and Corporate Secretary of Purolator Inc., where he held a broad portfolio of responsibilities beyond the legal function, including corporate security, stakeholder relations, and procurement. He also served as the Vice President, General Counsel and Corporate Secretary for Discovery Air Inc., responsible for the legal function as well as enterprise risk management, mergers and acquisitions, debt financing transactions and litigation management. Most recently, Dennis served as Assistant General Counsel and head of the Corporate, External and Legal Affairs function for Microsoft Canada, where he was responsible for policy advocacy, community engagement and customer licensing agreements. Before moving in-house, Dennis was a Corporate/Securities Associate with Goodmans LLP.
Dennis holds a Juris Doctor from Osgoode Hall Law School and was admitted to the Ontario Bar in 2002. He also holds a Master in Business Administration from Queen’s University.
