Jeremy Barnes was appointed President, Chorus Aircraft Leasing on May 3, 2022, and is the CEO of Chorus’ subsidiary Falko Regional Aircraft. Jeremy joined BAE in 1993 to lead its commercial aerospace financing initiatives. Whilst at BAE, Jeremy was responsible for all aspects of corporate finance within the commercial aerospace sector and sat on the Executive Board that oversaw the running of the Asset Management division. During his tenure at BAE, he established a team, the majority of which forms the Senior Team of Falko today, and completed a number of airline work outs in South Africa, US, Canada, Australia, UK and Colombia. Jeremy left BAE in 1999 to join XL Capital and in 2001 founded Orbis Capital, a corporate and structured finance company specialising in aircraft and other asset backed transactions. Jeremy led the buy in of the BAE asset management business which became Falko in July 2011. Falko was acquired by Chorus in May 2022.
