Calvin Ly

Calvin Ly is an experienced Project Manager with a strong background in structural engineering and project design. Currently at Chorus Innovations since June 2022, Calvin develops and maintains project plans in Jira, ensuring cross-functional collaboration for high-quality deliverables. As a Project Manager and Production Designer at Don't Be Jealous Studio, Calvin established management systems for tracking projects and streamlining onboarding processes. Previous roles include Project Engineer at Glotman Simpson Consulting Engineers, where Calvin performed structural calculations and provided design support, and Structural Designer at JCE Structural Engineering Group, focusing on seismic retrofit and new construction projects. Calvin also has experience as a Graphic Artist and Teaching Assistant at UC San Diego, where Calvin provided support in design and education, respectively. Academically, Calvin holds both a Master's and Bachelor's Degree in Structural Engineering from UC San Diego.
