Brian Fabian Crain

Brian Fabian Crain has a diverse range of work experience in the blockchain and cryptocurrency industry. Brian Fabian co-founded Chorus One in 2018, a global institutional staking provider that operates infrastructure for multiple Proof-of-Stake networks. Brian Fabian also served as the Co-Founder and Co-Host of Epicenter, a podcast focused on decentralization and blockchain technology. Brian was the Chief Operating Officer at Tendermint, where they played a key role in running the Cosmos fundraiser and scaling the company. Additionally, they founded and organized the Blockchain Meetup Berlin, one of the largest crypto meetup groups in Europe. Brian also has experience in business development, having worked as the Head of Business Development at Monax (formerly Eris Industries). Brian Fabian was involved in organizing the Quantified Self Berlin Meetup group and co-founded apeary GmbH, a company focused on analyzing user-generated content. Brian has also worked in commodities trading at Ameropa and as a Summer Analyst in Debt Capital Markets at HSBC Securities.

Brian Fabian Crain completed their undergraduate studies at the University of Chicago from 2004 to 2007, earning an A.B. (Honors) degree in Economics.

In 2008 to 2009, they pursued further education at The London School of Economics and Political Science (LSE) and obtained a Master of Science (MSc) degree in Economics and Philosophy.

Later, from 2011 to 2013, Brian attended UCL where they earned another Master of Science (MSc) degree, this time in Cognitive and Decision Sciences, with a distinction.

Additionally, in 2005, Brian briefly studied at both Columbia University and Peking University, exploring Chinese studies but did not obtain a degree in this field.

Brian Fabian Crain also holds certifications in Computing for Data Analysis, obtained from Coursera in October 2013, and Human-Computer Interaction, obtained from Coursera in November 2012.
