Anna Hamid has a diverse work experience in various companies. Anna started their career at Ingram Micro as a Product Manager for Fuji Xerox Printers, where they demonstrated success in increasing sales and margins. Anna then moved on to Telecom New Zealand, where they held the position of Product Manager for Commercial Services, managing a portfolio that included Global Gateway Services, Number Portability, and Commercial Co-location.
Following their time at Telecom New Zealand, Anna joined Telecom Wholesale New Zealand Limited as a Senior Product Marketing Manager, overseeing broadband and MVNO services. Anna played a crucial role in launching the VDSL2 service and worked closely with Chorus Steering and Crown Fibre Holding on the transition to fiber.
Anna's next role was at Chorus NZ Limited, where they began as a Senior Product Manager responsible for consumer and business fiber products, and later became the Portfolio Manager for the consumer fiber portfolio. Anna played a key role in New Zealand's transition to a fiber nation and led the introduction of new propositions to stimulate demand.
Currently, Anna is employed at Chorus NZ Limited as the Manager of Demand Stimulation, where they provide leadership for the development and delivery of direct campaigns to generate demand for Chorus' products. Anna manages a team and ensures the successful planning, designing, and coordination of these campaigns to meet corporate and sales goals.
Throughout their career, Anna has consistently demonstrated their ability to drive sales, develop new products, and deliver successful marketing campaigns.
Anna Hamid attended The University of Auckland from 2002 to 2004, where they obtained a Bachelor of Commerce degree with a major in Marketing & International Business. In July 2012, they also obtained a PRINCE2 Registered Practitioner certification from APMG International.
