Charlotte Russell has a diverse work experience spanning different companies and roles. Charlotte started their career in 2011 as a Learning and Development Administrator at Healthcare of New Zealand. Charlotte then worked as a Learning and Development Coordinator at Medibank in 2012 before moving on to AECOM as a People Services Administrator. In 2013, they joined Unison as an HR Administrator and stayed in that role until 2017. From 2017 to 2019, Charlotte worked at EY as a Global Talent Coordinator, specifically focused on Performance and Reward. In 2020, they joined Chorus NZ Limited as a Change Analyst, and in 2021, they worked as a Contractor Change Analyst at Auckland District Health Board. In 2021, they also joined SkyCity Entertainment Group as a Performance and Reward Consultant and later became a Performance and Reward Manager. Their most recent position is a Reporting & Insights Specialist at Chorus NZ Limited, which they started in 2023.

Charlotte Russell attended the University of Canterbury from 2006 to 2008, where they obtained a Bachelor of Commerce (BCom) degree with a specialization in Human Resources Development. In addition to their degree, Charlotte also holds certifications in Job Evaluation Training from Korn Ferry, which was obtained in November 2021, and in Project Fundamentals Qualification from the Association for Project Management, which was obtained in December 2018.
