Lara Wieser

Lara Wieser is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in regulatory compliance, performance analysis, and financial analytics. Currently serving as a Regulatory Compliance and Assurance Advisor at Chorus NZ Limited since September 2019, Lara previously held roles including Performance Analyst at the Department of Corrections in New Zealand and Commercial Projects & Pricing Financial Analyst at Allen & Overy. Earlier experience includes a position as Business Analytics Executive at Freshfields Bruckhaus Deringer and Business Analyst at KiwiRail. Lara also managed Front of House staff as a Duty Manager at Red Tomatoes Pizzeria & Bar and conducted research related to film and literature classification at the Office of Film and Literature Classification. Lara holds a Bachelor of Science First Class Honours degree in Applied Statistics and Psychology from Victoria University of Wellington.
