Owen Cooper

Service Automation Analyst

Owen Cooper has extensive work experience in the telecommunications industry. Owen started their career in 2005 at Spark New Zealand as a Broadband Technical Specialist and later became a Complex Support Specialist. Owen joined HealthLink in 2010 as a Technical Support Specialist before moving to Chorus NZ Limited in 2011. At Chorus, they first worked as a Technical Analyst/Specialist and then became a Service Manager. Currently, Owen holds the position of Service Automation Analyst at Chorus NZ Limited.

Owen Cooper completed their National Diploma in Information and Communications Technology from the Manukau Institute of Technology from 2001 to 2004. Prior to that, they attended Otahuhu College from 1996 to 2000, where they obtained their Bursary. Apart from their formal education, Owen has obtained several certifications throughout the years. In 2007, they earned the CCNA certification from Cisco. In 2010, they became a Microsoft Certified Technology Specialist (MCTS) in Windows 7 Configuration and a Microsoft Certified IT Professional (MCITP) in Windows 7 Enterprise Desktop Admin. In 2013, they attained the Yellow Belt in Six Sigma from The University of Auckland. Lastly, in 2014, they completed the ITIL Foundations v3 certification from Auldhouse.
