Christina Graham, MSN, APRN, AGPCNP-BC, has been a nurse for 10 years, and a board-certified Adult-Geriatric Primary Care Nurse Practitioner for the last five years. As a healthcare professional at a large academic medical center, Christina works on the front lines of chronic disease management. She found Functional Health after hearing Chris Kresser speak on a podcast. After reading his books and personally benefiting from applying ancestral health principles to her own life, Christina knew that practice in Functional Medicine would be her destiny.
With a lifelong desire to educate and help others improve their health, Christina enrolled in Chris Kresser’s ADAPT Health Coach Training Program, which she completed in 2019. She continues her practice in adult and geriatric primary care and has started a health coaching practice focused on helping busy professionals achieve work-life balance and create a life they love. Christina has begun coursework towards certification as a Functional Medicine practitioner and plans to pursue a doctorate in nursing practice with a focus on health promotion in 2020.
Christina’s clinical interests include optimization of healthspan and lifespan, obesity, sleep, diabetes, heart disease, autoimmune disease, sauna, meditation/mindfulness, and fasting. In her free time, Christina enjoys nature walks, Functional weight training, yoga, cooking, gardening, reading, podcasts, and spending time with her cats. She lives in the suburbs of Chicago with her fiance and two fur babies. Christina is grateful to be a part of the ADAPT community and is excited to review and learn from emerging research as a member of the Medical Advisory Board.
