Cynthia holds a Master of Arts in Communication and Media Studies from Ohio University and a Bachelor's degree in Mass Communication/Media Studies from Illinois State University.

Founded in 1965, Christ Church is a multisite, non-denominational church in the Chicago suburbs with more than 6,000 members.
