Chase McAbee

Chase McAbee is an accomplished music educator and conductor with a diverse background in choral activities and management. Currently serving as the Director of Choral Activities at High Point Academy since June 2017, Chase oversees the choral program for grades 6-12. In addition, Chase has held the position of Assistant Parish Musician at Christ Church Episcopal since April 2012, contributing as a tenor section leader and directing various choirs. Chase's experience also includes a longstanding role at BI-LO as Fresh Area Manager, encompassing floral, cakes, and customer service management responsibilities. Prior to the current roles, Chase was the Assistant Director of Choral Arts at Blue Ridge High School from August 2008 to June 2017, where involvement included sectionals and concert planning, leading to numerous championships. Chase holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Music Teacher Education from Furman University, earned in 2012.
