John Battey

John Battey is an experienced executive with a diverse professional background in both ministry and healthcare. Currently serving as Executive Pastor at Christ Church Plano since February 2018, John leads operations and ministries while focusing on disciple-making and preaching the Gospel. Prior to this role, John was Director of Client Strategy at Premise Health, where responsibilities included consulting with clients on optimizing healthcare services. John's extensive tenure at Concentra spanned from 1999 to 2015, progressing through various leadership positions, including Vice President of Sales, where revenue increased significantly under their guidance. John holds multiple degrees in Divinity from Cranmer Theological House and Redeemer Seminary, along with specialized certifications from The Wharton School and a Bachelor's degree in Biochemistry and Genetics from Texas A&M University.
