Mark Ashton

Mark Ashton has a diverse work experience in various leadership roles within the church. Mark served as the Lead Pastor at Christ Community Church in Omaha, NE, where they guided a congregation of over 4000 people and utilized technology to have a global impact. Prior to this, they worked at Willow Creek Community Church as the Pastor of Spiritual Discovery, leading a team and overseeing ministries for internationals, launching a Hispanic Church, and creating safe spaces for discussions on challenging topics. Mark began their career as a Campus Staff Member at InterVarsity Christian Fellowship/USA, where they invested in emerging leaders and traveled nationally as a public speaker on matters of faith and academics.

Mark Ashton attended the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign from 1986 to 1991, where they obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Marketing and Economics.
