Katie Hight began their work experience in 1999 as a Camp Program Director at the YMCA of Metropolitan Milwaukee. Katie then moved on to work at the Heritage YMCA Group, where they held positions as a Membership Director and later as a Children and Family Program Director. In 2008, they joined Christ Community Church as a Student Ministries Executive Project Manager and eventually took on the role of Executive Assistant to the Chief Executive Officer. Currently, they serve as the Senior Director of Human Resources and Guest Services at Christ Community Church.
Katie Hight's education history begins in 1991 when they attended Murray State University. Katie studied History-Secondary Education and Non-Profit Administration and completed their Bachelor of Arts degree in 1996.
Later, in 2000, Katie enrolled in Springfield College and pursued a Master of Science degree in Non-Profit Administration and Counseling. Katie completed their studies at Springfield College in 2001.
In addition to their formal education, Katie Hight has obtained several certifications. In 2021, they received CPR/AED/First Aid certification from the American Red Cross. The following year, in 2022, they earned the SHRM Senior Certified Professional (SHRM-SCP) certification from SHRM (Society for Human Resource Management).
Further, Katie acquired various certifications in 2023. Katie obtained the People Manager Qualification (PMQ) from SHRM, the Six Types of Working Genius Certification from The Table Group, the Youth Mental Health First Aid certification from the National Institute of Mental Health (NIMH), and became a DISC Certified Trainer through Maxwell Leadership.
