Johnson-Young Karen

Project Manager, Core Discipleship at Christ Fellowship Church

Johnson-Young Karen has extensive experience in project management and discipleship within faith-based organizations and scientific institutions. Currently serving as Project Manager for Core Discipleship at Christ Fellowship Church since November 2015, Karen oversees various discipleship tasks, manages educational materials, reports on membership metrics, and leads volunteer teams. Previously, Karen worked at Battelle from August 1989 to October 2015 as a Program/Project Manager and served as a Fishery Biologist at the U.S. Department of Commerce, NOAA, NMFS from July 1975 to August 1989, specializing in the management of fisheries resources and statistical analyses. Karen holds a Master of Science degree in Biological Oceanography from the University of Rhode Island Graduate School of Oceanography and a high school diploma in Biology from Weymouth South High School.
