Michael Rix

Michael Ricks is a seasoned banjo country music artist and worship leader with extensive experience in various musical and leadership roles. Since September 2013, Michael has been actively involved as a country artist with iamMichaelRix and TheMichaelRicks, releasing singles such as “Tonight” on SiriusXM. Michael has also performed alongside notable artists like Aubrey Peeples and appeared in CMT's "Still the King" featuring Billy Ray Cyrus. In addition to a vibrant music career, Michael has served as a worship leader at Christ Presbyterian Church since 2011, focusing on selecting and leading worship songs, and previously held the same position at Bethlehem United Methodist Church in 2016. Michael's professional background includes sales experience at Maverick Media and education in mechanical engineering from Rhodes State College.
